Lincolnshire residents have been praised for the part they have played in fighting crime during the past year. Independent charity CRIMESTOPPERS has revealed that communities across the County passed on more than 650 pieces of information to the Police. The number of resulting arrest and charges were up by more than 64%.  The charity values the role that volunteers in Lincolnshire have played, not only in raising awareness , but in helping to engage with local people and tackling crimes that affect their communities. They are now looking for new volunteers to join the Lincolnshire Crimestoppers in various roles. Further details can be found on the Crimestoppers website.
