On Friday 29th August an elderly man was approached by a male (who is believed to have an Italian accent) in the car park at Lidl in Stamford. This male offered a number of watches for sale. A price of £150 was agreed for 14 watches which turned out to be of poor quality.  PLEASE DON’T BUY ITEMS FROM PEOPLE WHO APPROACH YOU IN THE STREET AS THEY ARE LIKELY TO BE EITHER STOLEN OR POOR QUALITY. REMEMBER THAT IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT PROBABLY IS!!
