Lincolnshire Police are advising residents to be cautious when dealing with callers at the door after two incidents in the Market Deeping area during the Bank Holiday weekend. Both cases involved a man who asked if he could borrow a pen at one address and then claimed to be looking for the previous occupant of the house at another property. A handbag was later discovered to have been stolen at the first address and it is believed that this man may have been concerned. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN DEALING WITH STRANGERS WHO CALL AT YOUR DOOR AND REMEMBERIF YOU’RE NOT SURE DON’T OPEN THE DOOR!!
