Personal Safety

When you leave your home to go somewhere there are a number of things you should consider which will help to keep you safe and reduce the chances of you becoming a victim of crime. These include how you are going to get to your destination, what you are carrying and where.

I will provide you with advice on how to make sure that your purse/wallet and other valuables remain safe. I will also talk in some detail about the safe way to use cashpoint machines (ATM’s) and other bank devices. This advice will reduce the risk of theft and the chances of your bank card(s) being ‘cloned’ by a fraudster.

Over the past 5 years a total of £173.8 million has been lost as a result of cash machine fraud. This type of crime is on the rise and causes distress to those affected.
