Yesterday I received an e-mail from TSB bank informing me that they had disabled access to my online bank account due to suspicious bank transfers from the account a few days earlier. I was advised to log on to my personal homepage to check my account and to click on the embedded link to view the transaction in question and current balance. The problem is, I don’t bank with TSB and never have. This is clearly a scam intended either to obtain personal/banking details or insert a virus in my computer. Please take care with ANY unsolicited e-mails, even if they purport to be from your bank or some other organisation you use as they may also be bogus NEVER CLICK ON A LINK OR ATTACHMENT UNLESS YOU CAN BE CERTAIN THAT IT’S GENUINE
